Stephanie Casanova (maiden name Stover):

Stephanie was born and raised in Surrey, BC, Canada and has had work published in many newspapers, anthologies and has written a plethora of articles for different companies on the internet. 

As an experienced traveler, Stephanie has been on many adventures including backpacking in Europe, doing mission work in Cuba, wrestling all over North America, relaxing in the Bahamas and exploring Costa Rica for months at a time.

Although she currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Stephanie is very well rounded in her education, and is also studying English, creative writing, business and Spanish.

As a former amateur wrestler, Stephanie competed for Douglas College and Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club in British Columbia, and trained with Olympians including Daniel Igali, Lyndsay Belisle and gold medalist Carol Hyunh. She also started the first ever girls wrestling team at Guildford Park and led the team to a Fraser Valley Championship only two years after founding the team.

David Casanova

David was born and raised in Belen, Heredia, and he has lived most of his life in Costa Rica. As a typical "Tico" he has grown up knowing all the best places to eat, sleep and have fun in Costa Rica.

He moved to Vancouver, BC for eight years where he learned english, graduated from high school, and fell in love with his wife Stephanie.

David also has a passion for travelling, and enjoys finding new and affordable ways to visit new places and see different sights.

Soccer, beaches and guitars are among David's top passions, and he as achieved success in every one of his passions. David loves Costa Rica, not just beacuse it is his mother country, but also because it has a lot to offer, see, do, enjoy... and there is never a dull moment while in Costa Rica.
